Tam Cordingley
is the owner of Kennels and Horsefarms.
First licensed as a real estate agent in California in 1976, licensed
and worked in commercial real estate in South Carolina in the
mid 1980's, licensed in North Carolina and opened Country Lanes
Real Estate in 1994.
A 20 year career in banking prior to entering real estate helps her to understand how the financial mechanics of real estate work. Tam's avocation and passion in life is dogs and horses. She specializes in finding the perfect situation for the buyer and their animals, whether it is two horses or 100, 2 dogs or a world class show kennel. If the buyer wants to trail ride directly off the property, do competitive carriage driving, needs a nearby cutting arena, wants to do team roping or participate in rodeo sports, or needs the perfect place to put in a dressage arena, Tam understand the needs of their particular discipline and can find the right place. Her life outside of real estate focuses on the rescue and show dogs and the many horses on her North Carolina farm. She hosts a home for retired working animals of all species. Performers, assistance animals, show animals, all can find a safe, secure, and comfortable home. Some only for a short lay up while recovering from injury, some for life. She has raised, trained, and shown Smooth Fox Terriers for over 30 years and has many Champions and performance titled dogs to her credit. Tam is also a member of the Science and Advisory Board for TheDogPlace. Though retired from active brokerage, Tam is still very involved with Kennels and Horsefarms as expert consultant, adviser, and mentor. |
